LUTHIER 2023 | POWERGRADE
This pack includes the LUTHIER POWERGRADE, which can be used with any camera/color profile by utilizing the CST node.
This creates a strong B&W look with crunchy tones, soft highlight rolloff, and a few other tweaks. As with all Palinoia Post POWERGRADES, the nodes are clearly labeled to adjust to your liking.
This POWERGRADE was built for a short LUTHIER.
POWERGRADES require the use of at least DaVinci Resolve 18.
USAGE WORKFLOW:
(Ensure “Use S-Curve for contrast” under ‘General Options’ in the Project Settings (Gear Icon) is checked (default setting). Powergrade will work either way but this is the scenario it was created under and if box is unchecked can result in VERY weird results)
1: On the CST Node, adjust the ‘Input Color Space’ & ‘Input Gamma’ to match your footage.
2: Adjust EXP & WB Nodes to preference (this POWERGRADE is was made for a dark scene so for well lit scenes lower exposure)
3: Adjust CON (contrast) node to preference.
